With his achievement in the NMISF opening meet, the SSC swimmer now owns four records in his age group. The 11-year-old Suzuki’s other marks are in the 400m freestyle (4:41.01), 800m freestyle (9:34.63), and 1,500m freestyle (18.21.10), which were all registered this year.

As for Dangol, she made it to the record list in the 11 to 12 division for the first time as her 34.37 seconds eclipsed the 35.34 seconds former Tsunami Saipan swimmer Miku Tammy logged on March 21, 2014. Before moving up to her new age group, the 11-year-old Dangol set eight record in the 9 to 10 division and still owns nine of the 11 marks in the U8 category.

Batallones, on the other hand, reset his record in the 200m butterfly. His 2:33.42 was .24 of a second better than the 2:33.66 he registered on April 29, 2017.

All Schools meet Nov. 18
SSC will have the 2017 All Schools Championships on Nov. 18 and is inviting schools in the elementary, middle, and high school divisions to join next month’s meet.

“Sports are an excellent way to re-enforce life skills our children learn in the classroom.
