(Contributed Photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Napu Outrigger Canoe Club\u2019s youth paddlers will be defending their titles against host Guam and Palau in this weekend\u2019s 19th Micronesia Cup at Matapang Beach.<\/p>\n<p>Napu\u2019s junior teams swept the Top 3  in the junior mix 500m, 1,500m, and long-distance course of the 18th Micro Cup held in Palau last year and will be the squad to beat in the Oct. 26 to 29 competition in Guam.<\/p>\n<p>Seventeen youth paddlers will be representing the club in this weekend\u2019s races and they all left for Guam yesterday. The team is made up of Catherine Calms, Leisha Deleon Guerrero, Mayiah Duenas,  Daydra Hocog,  Isabel Ito,  Dayna Macaranas, Dhalian Salas,  Poima Tarkong,  Steven Goodwin,  Paul Heo, Joseph Nekaifes, Darian Salas, Nathan Nogis,  Oldie Joe Roligat , Abbas Shakir, Jon Paul Sablan, and You Jin Jun.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe kids have been working hard at practice. They are mentally and physically prepared so we are confident that our kids will do well,\u201d Napu president Ponce Rasa said in an interview with Saipan Tribune last Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Napu would like to thank the following for making their participation to the Micro Cup possible: Gov.
