The 3rd Annual Friends of the Joeten-Kiyu Public Library Golf Tournament will be held on Nov. 4 on the east course of the Laolao Bay Golf & Resort.<\/p>\n
Registration fee for the double peoria tournament is only $100 and entry forms are available at the Joeten-Kiyu Public Library and Laolao and should be turned in together with the entry fee by Nov. 2. Show time is at 6:30am, while tee time is at 7:30am.<\/p>\n
Lots of raffle prizes are at stake in next month\u2019s competition, while Imperial Pacific International will give away $200 each to closest to the pin winners. Participants also have a chance to win hole-in-one prizes, which include Atkins Kroll\u2019s 2017 Toyota Highlander, Joeten Motors\u2019 2017 Honda Civic Hatchback, and Pacifica Insurance Underwriter\u2019s, Inc.\u2019s $5,000.<\/p>\n
The Friends of the Joeten-Kiyu Public Library Golf Tournament has been a huge success, thanks to all attendees, community sponsors, donors, volunteers, off-island golfers, and those who donated raffle items. Last year, 80 joined the event and nearly $10,000 was raised to provide funding support and assistance for library services, programs, and equipment for the Joeten-Kiyu Public Library, the Antonio C. Atalig Memorial Library (Rota), and the Tinian Public Library.<\/p>\n
