The Commonwealth Advocates for Recovery Effort, a local nonprofit organization, is looking a short-term contractor to serve as director of CARE for no more than six months beginning in January 2018.<\/p>\n
The salary will be commensurate with experience, and the position will be dependent on the availability of funding.<\/p>\n
The CARE director works to administer and manage the long-term disaster recovery nonprofit organization for the CNMI. The director reports to the CARE Steering Committee and is responsible for oversight of CARE\u2019s disaster recovery efforts (including the ongoing repair and rebuilding program) and meeting the organization\u2019s mission statement, goals, and objectives. <\/p>\n
Qualifications:<\/p>\n
\t\u2022\tBachelor\u2019s degree required \/master\u2019s degree preferred, with experience in the nonprofit sector, disaster recovery work, or related field. <\/p>\n
\t\u2022\tMust possess a CNMI business license.<\/p>\n
\t\u2022\tMust possess management and leadership abilities, as well as strong communication and project management skills. <\/p>\n
\t\u2022\tKnowledge of the CNMI community, CNMI government, federal government resources, and website and donor database management. <\/p>\n
