TakeCare has launched an online member verification portal for health professionals at the Commonwealth Healthcare Corp. <\/p>\n
\u201cAccess to up-to-date eligibility and accurate benefits data greatly improves claims processing and accelerates payments\/reimbursements to providers,\u201d said Esther Muna, CHC chief executive officer. <\/p>\n
Nora Sablan, TakeCare Saipan health plan manager, said: \u201cAs the first local health insurance carrier to offer real-time verification, TakeCare is proud to partner with CHC in providing a better patient experience for our members.\u201d <\/p>\n
Invalid or incorrect patient insurance eligibility information is one of the most common reasons for claims denials, said Arvin Lojo, TakeCare health plan administrator.<\/p>\n
\u201cTakeCare offers TCEVA, a Web-based tool, to all our in-network providers, and now CHC, which enables them such to quickly and accurately determine eligibility within seconds, including details about the patient\u2019s copayment, co-insurance, deductible and benefit coverage,\u201d said Lojo.<\/p>\n
TakeCare and CHC will continue to work together to ensuring high quality care is accessible and affordable to TakeCare members.<\/p>\n
