The Next Top Chef has received over $40,000 worth of donations that will go to the cooking competition. <\/p>\n
According to Next Top Chef committee member Rose Smith, the committee has so far received donations
\nfrom numerous sponsors, both in-kind and cash, worth $42,000. That includes towels and supplies that will be used at the competition, cash donations, and equipment. <\/p>\n
Final touches are being made before the big event today, Nov. 9, starting at 6pm, at Fiesta Resort & Spa Saipan\u2019s dinner show area. <\/p>\n
All the slots for the competition have been filled.<\/p>\n
There will be 12 competing chefs from hotels, restaurants, and independent individuals who feel that they have what it takes to become the 2017 Next Top Chef. <\/p>\n
A cash prize of $1,000 will go to the chef who wins first place, $500 for second place, and $300 for third place. <\/p>\n
Tickets, which cost $50 per head, to the contest have been sold out on tickets since Tuesday but they is still accepting payments at the door. The contest is a fundraiser of the Empty Vessel Ministry Foundation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
