The Make-A-Wish Guam and Saipan Chapter generated over $37,000 during its annual Black Tie and Zories fundraiser last Friday night, with the money going toward fulfilling the wishes of children who suffer from critical illnesses.<\/p>\n
The fundraiser, which has been held on Saipan the past five years, was able to raise a total of $37,124.16 from raffle tickets, tickets, and cash and in-kind donations.<\/p>\n
The funds will go directly to the Commonwealth\u2019s \u201cwish kids.\u201d <\/p>\n
Chapter board member Kanae Quinn credits the success of Friday\u2019s event to the help of sponsors.<\/p>\n
