On Thursday, Nov. 16, 2017, at about 9:11pm, police responded to an auto pedestrian accident on Garapan Street by the Mom\u2019s Round Two bar. Upon arrival, police found the victim lying on the ground with serious injuries as a result of being run over by a car.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The victim, a Ponhpean female, age 34, was under the influence of alcohol when she walked into the street and lied down as if she was going to sleep.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
A friend of hers was attempting to wake the victim up and pull the victim off the road when a black 2000 Honda CRV drove over the victim. The driver of the car, a Filipino male, stopped the car and police were called.<\/p>\n

The victim was brought by the Department of Fire and Emergency Services ambulance to the Commonwealth Health Center emergency room.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The victim was pronounced dead by Dr. Martin Rohringer at 11:59pm.<\/p>\n
