(MVA)\n\t\t\t\t<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<p>A \u201cmelodious underwater garden\u201d is how Korean free divers and photographers are describing the popular dive site Coral Garden on Rota.<\/p>\n<p>The 14-member team, led by Marianas tourism ambassador Jaehoon Lee, toured Rota and Saipan on Nov. 12-16, 2017.  <\/p>\n<p>The underwater photography project was \u201corchestrated\u201d by the Marianas Visitors Authority to position the Marianas as an ideal destination for the water leisure activities, especially underwater.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe professional free divers and photographers visited diving spots and attractions of the Marianas to experience both our breathtakingly beautiful underwater scenes and our welcoming and colorful indigenous cultures,\u201d said MVA managing director Christopher A. Concepcion.  \u201cI was told all the participants had great admiration for our uncontaminated ocean and wonderful natural tourist attractions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOn Rota, the team had three full days to experience the Rota blue. The team was overpowered with the beauty of the underwater scene there. Some said they have never seen such stunning natural coral reefs and underwater creatures\u2014like the Christmas Tree Worm\u2014that Rota has.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The group also visited Teteto Beach, Senborn Yashi, Songsong Village, Swimming Hole, and Songsong Lookout to explore the untouched natural beauty of Rota and learn about its history and culture. On Saipan, the divers and photographers visited Grotto, Laulau Beach, Obyan Beach and Naftan Point for underwater photography projects, along with visiting Ladder Beach, Forbidden Island, Banzai Cliff, Mt. Tapochau and Micro Beach to capture the beauty of Saipan\u2019s land and sea. <\/p>\n<p>On and offline underwater photo exhibition with Lee will be held on MVA\u2019s social media channels and the public venue in Korea. The tour was also supported by Aqua Resort Club and Rota Resort &amp; Country Club.
