The man\u2019amko kicked off the holiday season with a bang, with the Matua Riders visiting the Office on Aging yesterday and giving gifts to the elderly.<\/p>\n
According to Office on Aging executive director Walter Manglo\u00f1a, it\u2019s always exciting to have the Matua Riders visit the center for their annual Christmas drop. <\/p>\n
\u201cWhenever the motorcycles come roaring in here, it brings a lot of excitement to our man\u2019amko,\u201d said Manglo\u00f1a. <\/p>\n
He said there are currently 90 active senior citizens who are under the Office on Aging program and all 90 will be receiving gifts from the Matua Riders. <\/p>\n
\u201cEveryone received a gift and we still have leftovers that we\u2019re going to give out to the clients that were absent,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n
The Man\u2019amko Center has a whole bunch of activities on their calendar for the month of December. The man\u2019amko will be visited by other agencies and organizations throughout the month as a way to make the man\u2019amko feel special. <\/p>\n
The man\u2019amko will also be singing at multiple government agencies throughout December. <\/p>\n
Also last Tuesday, the Rotary Club of Saipan hosted a late Thanksgiving lunch for the man\u2019amko. <\/p>\n
Manglo\u00f1a said the man\u2019amko were really happy because they were able to interact with the youth of Rotaract and Interact and share their stories with Rotary Club members. <\/p>\n
