{"id":266608,"date":"2017-12-18T06:06:58","date_gmt":"2017-12-17T20:06:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=266608"},"modified":"2017-12-18T06:06:58","modified_gmt":"2017-12-17T20:06:58","slug":"hotel-employee-arrested-dui","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/hotel-employee-arrested-dui\/","title":{"rendered":"Hotel employee arrested for DUI"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A hotel employee was arrested for DUI on Thursday after he was allegedly tested with a blood alcohol level of .280 percent, which is over the legal limit of .08 percent when his vehicle collided with another vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>The auto accident occurred at the traffic light of the MSV Building in Chalan Kanoa at the intersection of Beach Road and Tun Segundo.<\/p>\n<p>Franklin S. Fujihira was driving a 2004 gold Mitsubishi Outlander with two passengers. One passenger refused treatment while a second passenger was admitted to the Commonwealth Health Center for severe injuries and currently in the Intensive Care Unit.<\/p>\n<p>The driver of the 2015 white Toyota Prius along with two passengers were transported to CHC where they were treated and released with minor injuries.<\/p>\n<p>Both vehicles were heading south in the inner lane on Beach Road. The Mitsubishi was traveling at a higher speed than the posted 35 miles-per hour speed limit when it struck the Prius from behind. <\/p>\n<p>The police report stated that Fujihira and the two passengers are employees of Saipan World Resort. The co-workers attended their employee Christmas party earlier in the evening.
