{"id":267142,"date":"2017-12-28T06:06:59","date_gmt":"2017-12-27T20:06:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=267142"},"modified":"2017-12-28T06:06:59","modified_gmt":"2017-12-27T20:06:59","slug":"ite-treats-manamko-holiday-makeover","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/ite-treats-manamko-holiday-makeover\/","title":{"rendered":"IT&#038;E treats man\u2019amko to holiday makeover"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Keeping with its annual tradition for the sixth consecutive year, IT&amp;E recently treated the island\u2019s man\u2019amko to stylish makeovers, in time for the yearly CNMI Office on Aging holiday program. <\/p>\n<p>The man\u2019amko got free manicure, pedicure, haircut, hair color, and other styling services so that they can look their best for their holiday performances and programs. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn addition to many other activities that IT&amp;E is organizing to spread the holiday cheer throughout the CNMI, this is one of the most special events that we look forward to hosting every year,\u201d said IT&amp;E general manager Rose A. Soledad. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur man\u2019amko have done so much for our islands and have greatly contributed to the growth and education of our current and future leaders,\u201d Soledad added. \u201cThe makeovers are only a small treat to help recognize their significant contributions to the community and to make them feel extra special this holiday season.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>IT&amp;E enlisted the assistance of professional stylists, barbers, and manicurists from different Saipan salons.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe most wonderful part of the makeover sessions is seeing the big smiles and seeing the man\u2019amko have fun as they pose with their new hairstyles and manicured nails,\u201d Soledad said.<\/p>\n<p>Soledad expressed her gratitude to the staff members of the CNMI Office on Aging for their help in coordinating the event.
