Chalan Piao. Areas to be affected include Kiya 2 (3&#8243; partial), affecting Chalan Piao (Haiguas Ln., Niyok Dr., Ramona Ln., and Teodoro Dr.). (PR)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Underwater detonation training in Guam harbor<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>ASAN, Guam\u2014U.S. Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit 5 will conduct underwater detonation training in Outer Apra Harbor today, Jan. 24, from 8am to 4pm.<br \/>\nEODMU-5 will detonate one 5-lb explosive at the designated UNDET location on a sandy area of the sea floor. For the safety of the public and participants involved, the Coast Guard will establish a safety zone to restrict access in the vicinity.<br \/>\nEODMU-5 performs underwater detonation training to develop the skills needed to be ready to rapidly respond to operational missions and unexploded ordnance support on Guam and the CNMI.<br \/>\nFor the safety of personnel and marine life, the area will be cleared by divers and by lookouts on the surface before, during and after the exercise.
