{"id":269285,"date":"2018-02-02T06:06:06","date_gmt":"2018-02-01T20:06:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=269285"},"modified":"2018-02-02T06:06:06","modified_gmt":"2018-02-01T20:06:06","slug":"pic-opens-new-waterslides","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/pic-opens-new-waterslides\/","title":{"rendered":"PIC opens new waterslides"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Pacific Islands Club Saipan opened to the public yesterday new additions to its waterpark\u2014three new waterslide\u2014after over a year of construction.<\/p>\n<p>The San Antonio resort cut the ribbon to the new slides, with PIC staff demonstrating the mechanics of the waterslides while guests watched and mingled.<\/p>\n<p>According to Micronesia Resort Inc. CEO and president Matthew Park, it took them a year and a half to conceptualize and build the new attractions.<\/p>\n<p>Park said this was the result of guest surveys, with many guests asking for waterslides. He said they also wanted something dynamic and exciting to keep up with the competition.
