{"id":269900,"date":"2018-02-13T06:00:21","date_gmt":"2018-02-12T20:00:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=269900"},"modified":"2018-02-13T06:00:21","modified_gmt":"2018-02-12T20:00:21","slug":"rudnytsky-hold-two-romantic-music-concerts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/rudnytsky-hold-two-romantic-music-concerts\/","title":{"rendered":"Rudnytsky to hold two romantic music concerts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Friends of the Arts thanks Roman Rudnytsky, an internationally renowned classical pianist, for his continued service to the CNMI community during his current visit.  <\/p>\n<p>Since his arrival last Feb. 3, he has been visiting CNMI schools, both public and private, playing for their enjoyment and discussing classical music with the students. Rudnytsky will continue his school visits daily during his two-week stay in the CNMI.<\/p>\n<p>The FOA will sponsor two special concerts during Rudnytsky\u2019s visit, a rare chance to listen to live classical music played by a master pianist.  The Friends of the Arts invites the community to enjoy this special opportunity\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Rudnytsky will be performing a special \u201cMagic of Love\u201d concert on Valentine\u2019s Day evening, Feb. 14, at the Pedro P. Tenorio Multi-Purpose Center. This concert of romantic music is open to the public at the cost of $8 for adult FOA members, $10 for adult non-members, $5 for students and children over age 4. Special treats will be provided to help make it a great way to celebrate a special day with your special person. The doors will open at 6:30pm and the concert will begin at 7pm.  Reservations can be made by contacting Frank Gibson by phone or text at 287-7476 or, preferably, by email at flgibson@yahoo.com.<\/p>\n<p>The second concert will be on Saturday, Feb. 17, also at the Pedro P. Tenorio Multi-Purpose Center.  This performance will also be open to the public at the cost of $6 for adult FOA members, $8 for adult non-members, $4 for students and children over age 4.  The doors will open at 6:30pm and the concert will begin at 7pm.  <\/p>\n<p>The two programs will include differing selections each night from such classical masters as Chopin, Albeniz, Beethoven, Debussy, Liszt, Rachmaninoff, and other musical greats, to include Debussy\u2019s Clair de Lune. Each concert will have different selections of music.  <\/p>\n<p>The Commonwealth\u2019s young magician, Neil Fama, grand prize winner at this year\u2019s Bridge Capital\u2019s CNMI\u2019s Got Talent, will entertain during intermission with a demonstration of his magical talent.<\/p>\n<p>This is Rudnytsky\u2019s ninth trip to the CNMI.\u00a0 He travels at his own expense and donates his time to the community.\u00a0 The Friends of the Arts, with the help of sponsors, has hosted Rudnytsky\u2019s stay. This year\u2019s sponsors are the Office of the Governor, Bridge Capital, IT&amp;E, Drs.
