Ada Gymnasium. Borja and the SLLBI board are asking all coaches and managers of competing teams in the four divisions to attend the meeting as they need to discuss the season’s opening and other important matters, including the documents that each squad must submit.

SLLBI player agent Piding Tenorio, in a telephone interview with the Saipan Tribune, confirmed that they wouldn’t be able to open the season tomorrow as several teams have yet to turn in the required documents. The board—which is also made up of vice president A.J. Murig, secretary Malcolm Omar, and treasurer Annie Flores—had set deadlines and even held a one-day final submission on Feb. 3 to give teams more time to submit the league requirements. Tenorio, who collects and handles the documentation for all the players in four divisions, said that the board is hoping teams will be able to complete and turn in documents tomorrow.

The NSA Braves, Little Legals, and Comets are the teams in the Minor league division that have yet to comply with all the requirements, while the Little Cubs and McDonald’s are the squads in the Majors that have the same deficiencies. The Kagman Marlins is the other team in the Minors division, while Bank of Saipan, Pirates, Kagman Little Legals, the Taalabwogh Falcons, NSA Braves, and the Comets are entered in the Majors.

The NSA Braves in both the Junior and Senior League divisions have also yet to turn in other requirements. Comets 1 and 2, Falcons, and WPTC Chiefs complete the Junior League field, while the Fielders and the Falcons in the Senior League division have already completed their documents.

Meanwhile, Tenorio is reminding participating teams to submit proof of school enrolment.

“If you do not attend school, then why do you have to play in the Little League? School is more important than playing sports. I’m done with some of the papers. The board is hoping that teams would comply and submit the documents they are still lacking,” said Tenorio.

She added that managers or coaches of the teams should call her at 285-1024 for more information.

[5
4482,4483,678,1256
post-270208","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-sports","tag-mike-borja","tag-piding-tenorio","tag-senior-league","tag-sllbi
["GET
