Ralph DLG Torres directed that all CNMI and federal flags in the CNMI be flown at half-staff starting Feb. 16 in respect for the victims of the shooting tragedy in Parkland, Florida.<\/p>\n<p>President Donald J. Trump had ordered that the flag of the United States to be flown at half-staff as a mark of respect for the victims of the senseless act of violence perpetrated on Feb. 14, 2018, in Parkland, Florida.<\/p>\n<p>The flags are to be flown at half-staff until sunset, Feb.19, 2018.<\/p>\n<p>Torres signed a similar proclamation last Feb. 16, directing that the CNMI flag be flown at half-staff for the same length of time.
