{"id":270306,"date":"2018-02-19T06:06:21","date_gmt":"2018-02-18T20:06:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=270306"},"modified":"2018-02-19T06:06:21","modified_gmt":"2018-02-18T20:06:21","slug":"military-training-fdm-tinian","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/military-training-fdm-tinian\/","title":{"rendered":"Military training at FDM, Tinian"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ASAN, Guam\u2014The U.S. military will conduct training at the island of Farallon de Medinilla from today, Feb. 19, to Feb. 23, from 8am to 7pm. <\/p>\n<p>The military will also conduct training at the North Field on Tinian during the following dates and times: <\/p>\n<p>-Feb. 20, from 1pm to 3:15pm <\/p>\n<p>-Feb. 21, from noon to 2:15pm <\/p>\n<p>-Feb. 23, from 3pm to 9pm <\/p>\n<p>It is recommended the public, fishermen and marine tour operators monitor the Coast Guard broadcast notice to mariners for advisories. <\/p>\n<p>These trainings are designed to enhance the readiness of military personnel. Residents in surrounding areas should not be alarmed if they see or hear increased activity associated with the training. <\/p>\n<p>The general location of the training on the island of Farallon de Medinilla will be in a 12-nautical mile radius of the island.
