Sablan (Ind-MP) is urging his colleagues in Congress to take action against school gun violence.<\/p>\n<p>This, in the wake of the school shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, on Feb. 15, 2018, that killed 17 people.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement, Sablan said that just feeling sad was \u201cnot enough.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>\u201c\u2026Today, along with most of my Democratic colleagues on the Education Committee, I am calling for a full and formal hearing on what action Congress can take to end this plague of school gun violence that is taking the lives of our children,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Delegate Gregorio Kilili C.
