Monroyo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The Saipan Little League is set to open this Saturday with a heavy five-game schedule.<\/p>\n<p>Twenty-three teams spread out in the Minor (5), Major (9), Junior (5), and Senior (4) divisions will be competing this season and matches will be played at the Miguel \u201cTan Ge\u201d Pangelinan softball field and the Francisco \u201cTan Ko\u201d Palacios baseball field.<\/p>\n<p>The Minor division for 7- to 11-year-old kids will play once a week, with the NSA Braves taking on the Little Cubs in the opening day after the brief ceremony at 9am. The Kagman Marlins, Comets, and Northern Yankees are the other Minor division teams that will play at the \u201cTan Ge\u201d field.<\/p>\n<p>The Major division for the 11-12 age group have matches on Saturdays and Sundays also at the \u201cTan Ge\u201d field.  The Braves will face the Taalabwogh Falcons in the opener, followed by the Pirates-Kagman Little Legals tussle. Then on Sunday, the Little Cubs will clash with McDonald\u2019s at 9am, while the Bank of Saipan-Comets match will be next. The Twins complete the 11-12 age group field.<\/p>\n<p>Over at the \u201cTan Ko\u201d field, Saturday\u2019s matches in the Junior division will have the Falcons battling Comets I and the Falcons colliding with the Fielders in the Senior side.<\/p>\n<p>In other games this weekend, the Braves will meet the WPTC Chiefs in the Junior division at 9am on Sunday, followed by the Braves-Comets Senior league match. The Comets II is the other team in the Junior League.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, SLL Baseball Inc. player-agent Piding Tenorio is again reminding all managers and coaches of teams in the Minor, Major, and Junior divisions to complete the players\u2019 documents and submit them this weekend.
