{"id":270668,"date":"2018-02-23T06:00:48","date_gmt":"2018-02-22T20:00:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=270668"},"modified":"2018-02-23T06:00:48","modified_gmt":"2018-02-22T20:00:48","slug":"let-us-not-cnmi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/let-us-not-cnmi\/","title":{"rendered":"\u2018Let us not CNMI\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In recent days we read news accounts that expressed some form of corruption may have been committed by our ruling elites in our government.\u00a0Anytime the public domain is flooded by media reporting about any form of corruption, whether perceived or proven, it is a concerning thoughts for the electorate.\u00a0Where greed, deceit, deception, or self-deception manifests itself, regardless of size, shape or form, it is a governing issue and the electorate should launch its greatest madness in protest against these ruling class who were placed in public trust in elected positions to rule. St. Paul\u2019s gospel makes it clear that the ruling class in position of authority have sacred responsibilities in their dealings on behalf of those they rule.\u00a0Hence, putting them to shame for corruptible actions, intended or perceived, is the right thing to do and a rightful tool by the sovereign people. It is appropriate to say to them:\u00a0\u201cLet us not CNMI,\u201d with the acronym standing for:\u00a0Corruption, no more integrity.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Francisco R.
