(Contributed Photo)\n\t\t\t\t<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<p>The 9 Eleven MJD Warriors and sister team 8-Black Ball nipped their respective opponents to remain within striking distance of the league-leading Amari\u2019s Blue Haus Homeboyz in the Budweiser Open 8-Ball Thursday division.<\/p>\n<p>The Warriors and the Black Ball hold identical 15-11 won-loss records against the 20-6 mark of the Homeboyz after last week\u2019s matches in the Saipan Billiards Association-organized weekly league. The Amari\u2019s Intensity 8 (12-14), VFW Assassins (11-15), Sands Team SCS (11-15), 9 Eleven Titans (11-15), and Brannon\u2019s Jam Shooters (9-17) complete the Thursday League\u2019s eight-team field.<\/p>\n<p>The Warriors completed a 7-6 win over the Intensity 8 behind the duo of Jerry Soriano and Roel Barreto, as they beat the pair of Rico Montano and Victor Formales in the final Partner\u2019s 8-Ball game.<\/p>\n<p>The Homeboyz remained on top after dispatching the Jam Shooters, 9-4, as it swept the last three Partner\u2019s matches to complete the win.
