All are welcome to join the proclamation signing and ribbon-cutting ceremony. <\/p>\n<p>Each March, the CNMI celebrates Women\u2019s Month\u2014a time to recognize, honor, and celebrate the lives, contributions and achievements of women to their communities. Across the nation, communities, school districts and organizations line up a series of activities and events to pay tribute to the women of our nation. <\/p>\n<p>Spearheaded by the CNMI Women\u2019s Association, the Office of the Special Assistant for Women\u2019s Affairs, and their community partners, the month of March will feature a lineup of activities that will give emphasis on the call to include women\u2019s concerns and issues in leadership platforms and the government\u2019s development agenda.<\/p>\n<p>The International Women\u2019s Day theme is \u201cPress For Progress.\u201d The CNMI has adopted \u201cPress For Continued Progress\u201d as its theme for 2018.<\/p>\n<p>The CNMI Women\u2019s Association is funded by the Community Services block grant, a sub-grant awarded by the Division of Youth Services under the Office of Community Services, Department of Health and Human Services, and awarded by the Department of Community and Cultural Affairs\u2019 Division of Youth Services.
