{"id":271480,"date":"2018-03-08T06:06:20","date_gmt":"2018-03-07T20:06:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=271480"},"modified":"2018-03-08T06:06:20","modified_gmt":"2018-03-07T20:06:20","slug":"usdol-program-expedites-payment-american-workers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/usdol-program-expedites-payment-american-workers\/","title":{"rendered":"USDOL program expedites payment to American workers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>WASHINGTON, D.C.\u2014The Wage and Hour Division of the U.S. Department of Labor is launching a new program, the Payroll Audit Independent Determination program, or PAID, which expedites\u00a0resolution of inadvertent overtime and minimum wage violations under the Fair Labor Standards Act.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The PAID program will ensure that more employees receive back wages they are owed\u2014faster.
