{"id":271817,"date":"2018-03-13T06:00:23","date_gmt":"2018-03-12T20:00:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=271817"},"modified":"2018-03-13T06:00:23","modified_gmt":"2018-03-12T20:00:23","slug":"20-teams-far-committed-mmac","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/20-teams-far-committed-mmac\/","title":{"rendered":"20 teams so far committed to MMAC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Marianas March Against Cancer is still two months away, yet organizers are already poised for another big event\u201420 teams have so far committed to join the fight against cancer. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have had a great start into this year\u2019s event with events and fundraisers filling up our calendars left and right, but the most exciting thing about this whole process is that we currently have 20 teams committed compared to last year\u2019s number of 18,\u201d said MMAC 2018 Team Recruitment chair Catherine Attao-Toves. <\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s teams include: <\/p>\n<p>\t\u2022\tTeam Triple J Lancherus (Triple J and Chacha Oceanview Jr. High School)<\/p>\n<p>\t\u2022\tTeam Bodig<\/p>\n<p>\t\u2022\tTeam Bridge Capital\/Marianas Young Professionals (MYPros)<\/p>\n<p>\t\u2022\tTeam CHADIC (Cancer, HIV, AIDS and Diabetes Illness Coalition) <\/p>\n<p>\t\u2022\tTeam CNMI Government\/Ayuda Network<\/p>\n<p>\t\u2022\tTeam Docomo Pacific\/Ol\u2019Aces<\/p>\n<p>\t\u2022\tTeam Faiye<\/p>\n<p>\t\u2022\tTeam Hopwood Middle School<br \/>\n\t\u2022\tTeam IPI Dolphins (Imperial Pacific International and Marianas High School) <\/p>\n<p>\t\u2022\tTeam IT&amp;E\/Saipan Southern High School<br \/>\n\t\u2022\tTeam Joeten Eagles (Joeten Enterprises and Grace Christian Academy) <\/p>\n<p>\t\u2022\tTeam Marianas Health Services<\/p>\n<p>\t\u2022\tTeam MCS Knights (Mount Carmel School)<\/p>\n<p>\t\u2022\tTeam NMC\/LDTF (Northern Marianas College and Lady Diann Torres Foundation)<\/p>\n<p>\t\u2022\tTeam NMIFA (Northern Mariana Islands Football Association) <\/p>\n<p>\t\u2022\tTeam Pacific Islands Club<\/p>\n<p>\t\u2022\tTeam PSS\/SPC (Public School System Central and Saipan Paddling Club)<\/p>\n<p>\t\u2022\tTeam Talaabwogh Stars<\/p>\n<p>\t\u2022\tTeam Tan Holdings\/Kagman High School<\/p>\n<p>\t\u2022\tTeam Tribe Marianas <\/p>\n<p>Attao-Toves noted that Team CHADIC will be the first team from Tinian to join MMAC. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s very exciting to welcome Team CHADIC from Tinian to take on this challenge of joining our fight against cancer, and we are definitely looking forward to welcoming them to the MMAC track on event night.
