(Roselyn B. He single-handedly towed IT&E back into the game, as he was the only player in his squad to score in twin digits.

IT&E was behind at the end of the third period, 45-50, when Peredo took over in the fourth and toyed around with the defense of Saipan Vegas to hand his team the close win. Peredo’s fourth-quarter scoring surge made up for his two field goal performance in the third canto.

Saipan Vegas fell short in the fourth canto after having the lead majority of the first three, as its main gunner, Angelo Fernando, was held to 2 points in the final quarter. Before slowing down, Fernando tallied 10 points in the third frame. He finished with 14 points and was one of the four players that hit twin digits for Saipan Vegas.

Junar Guiab led Saipan Vegas with his 18 markers, while Leo Galarse and Paulo Sanguyo chipped in 15 and 12, respectively.

Meanwhile, Civic Center and Camor won the pair of games last Sunday.

Civic Center downed RNV Construction,72-63, while Camor topped Geotesting, 70-53.

Jun Fidelino and Dixon Kwon drilled 16 points apiece to lead Camor’s win, while Prince Factor also scored in double figures with his 12.

Camor led by only 3 after the third quarter, 44-41, but ended up with a 17-point winning margin as it went all out in the payoff canto. Geotesting lost, as it had no player hitting more than two field goals in the fourth-quarter letdown.

In the Civic Center-RNV Construction game, the former gained cushion in the third to pull off the 5-point win.

Jun Tabora made 9 of his 13 points in the third canto, turning a 30-32 halftime deficit to a 54-42 advantage, going into the fourth quarter. Jerry Tolentino then picked up where Tabora left off in the final frame, firing 10 of his 17 markers in that period to foil Geotesting’s comeback bid.

Wednesday
IT&E 73 — E.
