Ada Gymnasium. (Roselyn B. Monroyo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The Ol\u2019Aces and CT Law NMI Rollers prevailed in the pair of U18 division matches in the 2018 Frank M. Diaz Memorial Youth League last Wednesday at the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium.<\/p>\n<p>The NMI Rollers downed the 670 Sonics XVIII in the curtain-raiser, 42-36, while the Ol\u2019Aces cruised past the CT Law Rollers Bulls in the second game, 90-26.<\/p>\n<p>All the nine players that the Ol\u2019Aces fielded in the lopsided game scored with three of them registering double figures and three more adding at least 8 points apiece for the squad\u2019s balance offense. N-Nes Siech led the Ol\u2019Aces with his 16 points, while E.J. Abejo and Coby Santos contributed 14 and 13, respectively. John Ichihara chipped in 9 markers, while Frank Bomdoc and Dean Blake had 8 apiece.<\/p>\n<p>The Ol\u2019Aces opened a 24-7 advantage at the end of the first quarter and continued to pad their lead in the last three en route to the 64-point winning margin.<\/p>\n<p>The CT Law Rollers Bulls never had a chance against the prolific offense, as only three players made it to the board for the losing squad. Jeremy Agulto tallied 12 points for the CT Law Rollers Bulls, J.P. Cruz recorded 11, and Devon Pangelinan posted 3.<\/p>\n<p>The CT Law Rollers Bulls scored in single digit in each of the first three quarters before logging 13 points in the final canto when the Ol\u2019Aces played letdown on defense, as the former had the game already in the bag.<\/p>\n<p>In the second game, the CT Law NMI Rollers got off to a good start and hung tough in the homestretch to beat the 670 Sonics XVIII.<\/p>\n<p>The CT Law NMI Rollers established a 23-12 lead at the break behind the 12 points of Sunjoon Tenorio and protected the driver\u2019s seat in the second half. <\/p>\n<p>Aaron Ogumoro took over from Tenorio in the second half,  as the former dropped 8 of his 10 points in that period.
