(Contributed Photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The Amari\u2019s IT&amp;E Destroyers increased their lead in the Budweiser Open 8-Ball Tuesday League after beating the 9 Eleven Wildboyz, 8-5, in last week\u2019s games held in separate bars on the island.<\/p>\n<p>The Destroyers were ahead by only three (62-29) against the second-running Wildboyz (59-32) before the April 3 matches and upped their record to 70-34 compared to the latter\u2019s 64-40 slate.<\/p>\n<p>Nolan Cultura led the Destroyers\u2019 victory as he swept all the four games he played in the Singles and Partners 8-Ball. He won three Singles and joined Rico Montano in beating the Wildboyz duo of Randy Sablan and Bill Cepeda in the Partners 8-Ball.<\/p>\n<p>Shane Quitugua, Pat Cepeda, Ray Matsunaga, and Sablan scored the five wins for the Wildboyz.<\/p>\n<p>In other results, the Brannon\u2019s Docomo Hustlers squeezed out an 8-7 decision over the 9 Eleven Marianas Water with Joey Lucido and Senen Pangelinan securing the win when they bested Roel Barreto and Jerry Soriano.<\/p>\n<p>The 9 Eleven Str8 Black Ball\u2014composed of Mervin Sahagun, Tata Hamoy, Rodel Dela Cruz, and Rey Hermogenes\u2014destroyed the Brannon\u2019s 670 Builders, 12-1. Tom Bernardo and Chris Imbo gave the Builders the lone win when they defeated Dela Cruz and Hermogenes in the Partners 8-Ball event.<\/p>\n<p>The Hustlers and Marianas Water join the Wildboyz for a tie for second to fourth place as they hold similar 64-40 slates.
