Tonight\u2019s talent competition at the Northern Marianas College Charter Day celebration will include magicians, singers, musicians, rappers, dancers, and other talents.<\/p>\n
This year\u2019s finalists for the Proa Factor talent competition include Juliet Inocencio, John Benig, Donato Santiago, Nathan Ada, Bernice Sabino, Neil Fama, Travis Kaliga, and Goddhy Taitingfong.<\/p>\n
The finalists, who were selected from a highly competitive audition last week, will be vying for the top prize in front of the Charter Day audience.<\/p>\n
The competitors range in age, talent, and background. Some of the competitors re-auditioned this year for a second shot at being named NMC Charter Day\u2019s Proa Factor champion.<\/p>\n
Returning finalists include Taitingfong and Fama, both of whom are popular performers in the CNMI.<\/p>\n
Fama, a young illusionist and former Proa Factor finalist, has made a name for himself as the CNMI Got Talent 2017 champion. In about a year, Fama has made illusions part of his profession and performs at various venues on island, including Chambre Bar at Fiesta Resort & Spa Saipan.<\/p>\n
Taitingfong has also made a name for himself as a popular rapper on Saipan and has appeared in one of Docomo Pacific\u2019s promotional music videos.<\/p>\n
These finalists will be performing their individual talents which range from singing, and dancing, to rapping and illusions. They are all competing to be named the 2018 Proa Factor champion and to win prizes provided by NMC\u2019s Charter Day sponsors.<\/p>\n
The Charter Day festivities will kick off at 4pm and will continue until 10pm at the NMC south field in As Terlaje on Friday, April 13, 2018. The event will feature various entertainment, activities, and competitions. Numerous vendors will also be selling food and drinks, as well as hosting game booths.<\/p>\n
