{"id":273950,"date":"2018-04-16T06:00:07","date_gmt":"2018-04-15T20:00:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=273950"},"modified":"2018-04-16T06:00:07","modified_gmt":"2018-04-15T20:00:07","slug":"a-trump-trilogy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/a-trump-trilogy\/","title":{"rendered":"A Trump Trilogy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>After He\u2019s Gone: Disaster at Dawn<\/strong><br \/>\nGoofball governance from golf green to WH lawn<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nAfter Congress completes his impeachment<br \/>\nlet us hope and pray for Donald\u2019s resignation<br \/>\nwith just a few tweets and a brief news comment<br \/>\nhe could give soothing relief to the entire nation<br \/>\nhe\u2019s got plenty of moral and ethical smudges<br \/>\ninsulting people and ruining outstanding careers<br \/>\nworse is the appointment of incompetent judges<br \/>\nwhose negative effect will be around for years<br \/>\nhopefully he\u2019ll depart within the next three years<br \/>\nthe exact method of removal remains to be seen<br \/>\nthe nation can count on him stirring up fears<br \/>\ndespite more time out on his golf course greens<br \/>\n\u2018after he\u2019s gone\u2019 and the disastrous result shows<br \/>\npermanent damage that was done only history knows.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n<strong>Gun Deaths Second Amendment Breaths<\/strong><br \/>\nDeath across dark waters death throughout the land<br \/>\ndeath despite our laws big guns in the wrong hands<br \/>\ndeath across the oceans death on ships on high seas<br \/>\noff the Horn of Africa pirates do as they please<br \/>\nin schools churches campuses and shopping malls<br \/>\nlunatics slaughter innocents bouncing bullets off walls<br \/>\nteenagers lead demonstrations across the nation<br \/>\nCongress drags its legal feet in partisan frustration<br \/>\nmeanwhile where will the next gun slaughter be<br \/>\nwho will take the blame for this senseless tragedy<br \/>\nthere are many different answers to this question<br \/>\nwhich all bring up more problems and suggestions<br \/>\nthe second Amendment needs clarification today<br \/>\nsupport legislation that takes assault rifles away.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n<strong>Beyond Bigly Pardon: The Donald\u2019s Tale<\/strong><br \/>\nAn emergent exemplum inspired by Geoffrey Chaucer\u2019s The Pardoner\u2019s Tale, part of The Canterbury Tales, which was written between 1387 and 1400.
