Entries are now being accepted from CNMI students in grades 6-12 for the 2018 Tourism Month Graphic Arts Design Contest, jointly organized by the Marianas Visitors Authority and Marianas Tourism Education Council. (MVA)<br \/><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Are you a student with graphic design skills? Marianas Tourism Education Council and the Marianas Visitors Authority would love to see your ideas for promoting special places in the Marianas. <\/p>\n<p>MTEC and the MVA are holding a Tourism Month 2018 Graphic Arts Design Contest titled \u201cSee My Marianas\u201d for CNMI students in grades 6-12. The deadline to submit entries is 4:30pm on May 11, 2018, and winners will be announced at the Taste of the Marianas International Food Festival on May 19. <\/p>\n<p>Submissions must be an original digital design with the words \u201cSee My Marianas\u201d featuring a site\/location in the Marianas that the artist would encourage people to visit. Entries should include the name of the site\/location, and brief one-to-four sentence description of the site, and the following: www.mymarianas,com and Facebook icon with the address facebook.com\/mymarianas and Instagram icon with the address Instagram.com\/themarianas). <\/p>\n<p>Submissions may be made by mailing to info@mymarianas.com or posting on Facebook at My Marianas (www.facebook.com\/mymarianas\/) with the hashtag #mymarianasdesign. <\/p>\n<p>Entries should include student name and grade. All entries must be accompanied by a permission release form, and winners will be contacted via Facebook or email, however they submit. <\/p>\n<p>Prizes are: <\/p>\n<p>\u2022 First place: $150 cash + $150 Taste of the Marianas tokens \u2028<br \/>\n\u2022 Second place: $100 cash + $100 Taste tokens \u2028<br \/>\n\u2022 Third place: $50 cash + $50 Taste tokens \u2028<br \/>\n\u2022 Fourth place: $25 cash + $25 Taste tokens \u2028<br \/>\n\u2022 Fifth place: $25 cash + $25 Taste tokens \u2028<\/p>\n<p>Entries will be judged on the following: adherence to contest guidelines, artistic execution, accuracy of site\/location name and description, emotional response\/does it create a feeling of enticement to see the site\/location \u2028For contest guidelines and a permission release form, visit www.mymarianas.com.
