Her output was the most scored by any player in the entire league by April 7. TanHoldings’ Taka Borja collected 20 after last April 7’s matches in the boys U15 age group and the division has three playing weekends left, including last Saturday’s.

It was the fourth time that Joyce tallied four goals in a single game. She registered four goals versus Matansa (Feb. 10), against MP United (March 3), and opposite TanHoldings (March 17). The Kanoa player’s most goals (5) were recorded in their 9-6 triumph over Paire last Feb. 24.

Joyce won the coveted Golden Boot award against MP United’s Stella McCallion, teammate Sharmaine Francisco, and Southern United’s Keisha Deleon Guerrero. McCallion settled for the runner-up honors after getting 12 in six games, while Deleon Guerrero and Francisco had eight each. TanHoldings’ Judy Andobar rounded out the Top 5 after tallying 6.

With Joyce and Francisco on target this season, Kanoa finished on top of the team rankings. Last fall season’s champion wrapped up the round-robin contest with a 5-1-0 win-draw-loss record to notch one of the two outright semis spots in the division. Shirley’s took the other Final Four ticket with its 4-2-0 card, while MP United (4-0-2), TanHoldings (3-1-2), Southern United (2-0-4), and Paire (0-1-5) battled for the last two semis seats last Saturday.

Meanwhile, Borja is still on top of the Golden Boot race in the boys U16 division after despite failing to score in their 1-2 loss to Kanoa FC last April 7. However, his lead was trimmed down to 5, as Rintaro Miyawaki of MP United managed to gain four more for a total of 15. Borja collected 20 after eight games and his team will play its last match this Saturday against Shirley’s FC.

Kanoa’s Ian Maniago (15), Matansa’s Lolobeyong Benito (11), and Paire’s Kaden Church (10) joined Borja and Miyawaki in the Top 5 (goals scored in last Saturday’s games were not included).

[5
10641,15994,13941,16045
post-274039","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-sports","tag-golden-boot","tag-keisha-deleon-guerrero","tag-paulynn-joyce","tag-southern-united
["GET
