{"id":274420,"date":"2018-04-20T06:06:37","date_gmt":"2018-04-19T20:06:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=274420"},"modified":"2018-04-20T06:06:37","modified_gmt":"2018-04-19T20:06:37","slug":"national-park-week-at-the-amp","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/national-park-week-at-the-amp\/","title":{"rendered":"National Park Week at the AMP"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The American Memorial Park will be celebrating National Park Week and is inviting the public. <\/p>\n<p>Tomorrow, April 21, from 9am to 12pm, the park will feature artwork created during the annual Art-in-the-Park program.\u00a0The artists who led the banana painting, watercolor and beading sessions will be on hand to demonstrate their craft.<\/p>\n<p>For those interested in participating in artistic expression, there will also be a \u201cchalk walk\u201d from 9am to 11am.\u00a0This interactive activity will enable everyone to make art with chalk along the park\u2019s paths.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Youths of all ages will also have the opportunity to become junior rangers.\u00a0\u00a0Throughout the morning, visit the ranger station and pick up a junior ranger activity sheet.
