The exam tests the knowledge, skills, and abilities of nursing graduates in order to certify that they are equipped with the capability to apply entry level nursing practices correctly.<\/p>\n<p>NMC president Dr. Carmen Fernandez said, \u201cI want to congratulate Maria, Mayleen, and Joseph on becoming the latest graduates to pass this difficult exam and look forward to hearing more about their success as medical professionals.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Rosa\u00a0Tudela, chairperson of NMC\u2019s Nursing Department, said,\u00a0\u201cJoseph, Maria, and Mayleen worked very hard in studying and preparing themselves to pass the NCLEX-RN exam. I applaud them for their efforts and dedication and we are very proud of their recent accomplishments! They are ready to give back to our community their selfless service of care and devotion in their journey as healthcare providers. I have no doubt that they will do their very best for our people.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Atrero said her\u00a0interest in pursuing a nursing degree started after being a part of the nursing\u00a0assistantship program in\u00a0high school when she realized how she enjoyed being a part of the medical field and being able to help people.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe NMC Nursing instructors gave me a\u00a0head start with what I needed to know, as well as helped me gain experience on what I could expect working as a nurse in the medical field,\u201d Atrero said.<\/p>\n<p>Aldan said the NMC Nursing Program prepared her by giving her the basic fundamentals and nursing knowledge and skills.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBoth of my parents are nurses and I have seen them help many people, both sick and well in our community,\u201d Aldan said. \u201cSo I chose to pursue nursing because it is a great opportunity to help people in many ways from all walks of life.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Talking about what factors that helped him pass the exam, Ichihara said,\u00a0\u201cMy parents were there to support me, and my classmates encouraged me not to give up, and their support helped me.
