Ezra Ada and Jake Aguon alternated on the mound to lead Bank of Saipan to a 15-7 win over the Twins in last Saturday\u2019s game in the Majors division of the 2018 Saipan Little League Baseball at the Miguel \u201cTan Ge\u201d Basa Pangelinan Ballfield.<\/p>\n
The win was the third in six games for Bank of Saipan and its even record put them in a tie with McDonald\u2019s for fifth to sixth place in the nine-team field. The loss was the seventh straight for the Twins.<\/p>\n
Ada tossed 3 2\/3 innings in start and was tagged with four earned runs on four hits with five strikeouts, and six walks. Aguon pitched 2 1\/3 innings in relief with no earned runs on two hits and he also posted two strikeouts and two walks. <\/p>\n
Aguon went 2-for-4 at bat with a double and two runs, while Jesse Stole had three RBIs on a 2-for-3 batting. Stole had an RBI double in the Bank of Saipan\u2019s six-run second inning, while Jesus Tyquienco, 2-for-2, touched home plate four times and had a triple.<\/p>\n
Comets 10, Cubs 7<\/strong> Mendiola tossed a one-hitter in 3 1\/2 innings in relief with a walk and seven strikeouts.
