VFW Post 3457 is hosting a Cinco de Mayo celebration featuring a Chili Cookoff on Saturday, May 5, at the VFWPost\u2019s home in Garapan. <\/p>\n
Co-sponsored by Pacific Trading, Inc., the community is invited to register their individual or group chili creation by calling Mariano Fajardo at 285-0613.<\/p>\n
The judging for the Chili Cookoff will be done by representatives of the Marianas Young Professionals and will begin at 6:30pm at the VFW. There is a limit of 15 entries due to space, so the first 15 to register will be given priority. All 15 entrants will receive Cinco de Mayo-themed prizes.<\/p>\n
Discounted drinks from Pacific Trading, Inc. will be available all night. Doors open at 4pm and there will be electrical outlets available to keep the chili fresh.
