The Saipan Mayor\u2019s Office has been made more accessible to the elderly, children, and individuals with special needs. <\/p>\n
The mayor\u2019s office, formerly located on Beach Road, has officially moved to Susupe by the Francisco C. Ada Gymnasium track and field. <\/p>\n
The mayor\u2019s office is now located on the bottom floor of the CTC building in Susupe.<\/p>\n
According to Saipan Mayor David Apatang, one of the purposes of the move was to ensure that everyone could access the mayor\u2019s office to avail of services. <\/p>\n
One of the problems in the office\u2019s former location was that the mayor\u2019s office was located on the second floor. It was a struggle for individuals who were on wheelchairs, for the elderly, and for little children.<\/p>\n
Apatang is extremely happy about the new location because it isn\u2019t only accessible, it is also double the size of the previous office and has a warehouse to store all the equipment that the office uses in its mission to beautify the CNMI. <\/p>\n
