All farmers and producers who wish to participate in the fair must register their names and plants\/animals to display. Also, farmers will be asked to select amongst themselves who will participate in the Agriculture Fair Committee.  They will be selecting officers for president, vice president, and secretary\/ treasurer. (PR)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Memorial Day proclamation signing <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Office of the Governor\u2019s CNMI Military Veterans Affairs Office would like to invite all military members, families, and the public to a proclamation signing on May 21, 2018, at 9am, at the Office of the Governor conference room for the celebration of Memorial Week on May 21 \u2013 28 and Memorial Day on Monday, May 28, 2018, 9am at the Veterans Cemetery in Marpi. (PR)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kagman schools to have PTSA meeting<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is to inform all parents, guardians, and the community that the Kagman cluster of schools will be having a Parents Teachers Students Association meeting on Thursday, May 17, 2018, starting at 5:30pm in the ChaCha Oceanview Middle School cafeteria. (PR)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Military training at Warning Area 517\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>ASAN, Guam\u2014The U.S. military will conduct training at Warning Area 517 (W-517) until May 16, from 9am to 10pm. It is recommended the public, fishermen and marine tour operators monitor the Coast Guard broadcast notice to mariners for advisories.\u00a0W-517 begins south of Guam and extends south-southwest in international waters.  Santa Rosa Reef and Galvez Banks are open for public use. W-517 supports surface and aerial<br \/>\ngunnery, missiles, and laser exercises. (PR)<\/p>\n<p><strong>CAO community report meetings set<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Carolinian Affairs Office is holding a community report meeting on May 16 at the Kagman Youth Center. (PR) <\/p>\n<p><strong>Nominees sought for MINA\u2019s Green Awards<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Micronesia Islands Nature Alliance is seeking nominations for this year\u2019s Green Award for presentation at the annual Green Gala event slated for Sept. 14, 2018. The deadline for submission of nominees is June 1, 2018. Awards are given in the following categories, and nominations will be accepted from Saipan, Tinian, and Rota: Environmental Champion Award, Environmental Heroes Award, Green Business of the Year.
