Koblerville Elementary School owned the 4x100m relay run in the elementary division, while Tinian Elementary School foiled an Umang sweep at the conclusion of the 2018 Public School System\/McDonald\u2019s All Schools Track and Field Championships last Saturday at the Oleai Sports Complex oval.<\/p>\n

Koblerville prevailed in the 4x100m relay run in the boys U7, boys and girls U9 and U11, while Tinian took the top honors in the girls U7 age group.<\/p>\n

Montrea Elewel, E.J. Mality, Vince Eusebio, and Jephda Hong handed KES its first victory when they clocked in at 1:21.7 in the boys U7\u2019s 4x100m relay race and defeated Agape Christian School\u2019s Yanglei Ou, Reuviel Escarlan, Scott Shi, and Benjamin Cai, who timed in at 1:33.09.<\/p>\n

In the girls U7 division, Tinian\u2019s Kaisa San Nicolas, Prescilla Roldan, Janean King, and Ysabella Lenteja combined for 1:24.07 to finish ahead of KES\u2019 Sapalyn Apas, Joretia Limes, Aaliyah Cosmes, and Melvina Helfin (1:26.50) and William S. Reyes Elementary School\u2019s Dannah Ciano, Eligh Castro, Cela Managan, and Mikena Cruz (1:42.70).<\/p>\n

In the boys U9, KES submitted 1:15.45 to beat WSR\u2019s 1:16.76, while the former\u2019s girls team recorded 1.13.64 to also win over WSR and Agape, which posted 1:26.04 and 1:26. 65, respectively.<\/p>\n

Koblerville\u2019s boys U11 squad, which was made up of Kobe Imperial, Monico Claridads, Jezpher Navarro, and Slymark Defang, had the fastest time in the elementary relay race with its 1:04.07 to beat San Vincente (1:05.18) and WSR (1:05.38). The Umang\u2019s girls crew duplicated the boys team’s feat after logging 1:06.13 and placing ahead of San Vicente (1:07.79), Brilliant Star School (1:08.28), WSR (1:16.32), and Agape (1:23.02).<\/p>\n

In the middle school division, Hopwood Middle School and Tinian Junior and Senior High split took the top honors in the boys and girls U13 races with the former clocking in at 55.04 second and the latter recording 1:00.62. Hopwood won over four other schools, while Tinian defeated five other teams.<\/p>\n

In the high school races, Hopwood also triumphed in the boys U15 (55.37 seconds), while Saipan International School (59.49 seconds) ruled the girls field against Dandan (1:01.76), Hopwood (1:03.26), Agape (1:06.40), and Seventh Day Adventist (1:07.93). In the boys division, Hopwood edged Dandan (56.23), Agape (56.99), Francisco M. Sablan Middle School (57.30), and SDA (57.79).<\/p>\n

For the boys U18 division, the favored Saipan Southern High School (N-nes Siech, Traven Quitugia, Cobe Santos, and Nehem Fernandez) lived up to expectations after submitting 49.78 seconds and winning over Marianas High School (50.04), Agape (50.35), and Tinian (50.64). In the girls field, MHS won its faceoff against Agape with the former registering 57.82 seconds versus the latter\u2019s 1:05.34).<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Koblerville swept the U7\u2019s 4x400m relay races and added the girls U9 to its collection of first place medals, while WSR prevailed in the boys U9 and U11, and San Vicente topped the girls U11 age group.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
