A famous South Korean all-girl K-pop group officially launched their newest music video that was shot in the CNMI. <\/p>\n
Momoland just launched the music video for the Japanese version of \u201cBboom Bboom\u201d last Wednesday, May 16. <\/p>\n
Less than a week since the video was released, the video has already garnered over two million views worldwide. <\/p>\n
According to Marianas Visitors Authority managing director Chris Concepcion, the music video has helped expose the CNMI to the world. <\/p>\n
\u201cWe flew them in and they shot their video\u2026in different places around the island and the exposure we got from that is something that we at MVA really could never afford because the exposure was just tremendous\u2026we\u2019re happy to have that type of celebrity power come over to the CNMI and expose our island to an international audience,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
The video is trending on YouTube and has been creating buzz for the CNMI in social media outlets. <\/p>\n
Concepcion could not be happier with the turnout of the video. <\/p>\n
\u201c\u2026The MVA team put the itinerary together with our office in Korea\u2026we\u2019re happy with the turnout and we\u2019re happy that the Momoland group really enjoyed their stay here. The hospitality that the CNMI showed was something they really appreciated,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n
Momoland arrived on Saipan in late April and left in early May. The group shot their footage for a week. <\/p>\n
According to Concepcion, it was Momoland\u2019s first trip to Saipan. <\/p>\n
\u201cThere is another K-pop group that is coming to the CNMI next month so we\u2019re looking forward to it. We\u2019re excited about the additional exposure that we are going to get because of it\u2026it\u2019s something the MVA put a lot of effort into…it\u2019s not easy to pull off this kind of things and to bring high power celebrities to the CNMI so we\u2019re happy that they\u2019re able to come here and enjoy the islands,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
