(Contributed Photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Ten company teams have signed up to compete for the title of Saipan Chamber of Commerce Corporate Challenge Champions for 2018. Going head-to-head are Pacific Islands Club, D&amp;Q Warriors, IT&amp;E Cobalt Explorers, BankPacific, Triple J, N15 Architects, Imperial Pacific, and Bank of Saipan. And of course, back to defend their titles are Delta Management Corp.\u2019s Delta Force who were named 2017 Spirit Award recipients and Marianas Pacific Distributors who are the defending first place champions.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s theme is \u201cBreaking Barriers, Building Bridges.\u201d The recent labor issues have put a strain not only on the islands\u2019 businesses but also on its valued employees. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have put our people to the test: training, retraining, displacing, and replacing them. With the constant changes within our workforce, now more than ever, employees need the opportunity for unity, togetherness, and camaraderie. This event will celebrate our employees\u2019 resiliency and ability to \u2018break barriers\u2019 and \u2018build bridges\u2019 toward a brighter future for each of our companies,\u201d said the Chamber. <\/p>\n<p>The 18th Annual Corporate Challenge will be held on Sunday, May 27, 2018, at the Minatchom Atdao Pavilion in Susupe. The event will feature games that promote team-building and corporate wellness. The winners will be announced immediately following the day\u2019s activities. A raffle drawing will also be held.
