(Contributed Photo)\n\t\t\t\t<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<p>Hyatt Regency Saipan and The Shack have joined the growing list of title sponsors for the 2018 Liberation Day celebration in The Marianas.<\/p>\n<p>Raffle prize winners for the annual celebration will have the opportunity to enjoy a complimentary night stay at the Executive Suite, Sunday brunch for two, and other prizes from Hyatt Regency Saipan.  The company recently donated $5,000 worth of hotel night stays, buffets, Club Elan passes, and massages.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are extremely grateful to Hyatt Regency Saipan and The Shack for their title sponsorship of 2018 Liberation Day,\u201d said 2018 Liberation Day committee chair Joe E. Ayuyu, Jr.  \u201cAs a longstanding member of our Commonwealth community, Hyatt continues be an active and generous participant of this and many other local events.  We also appreciate the support of The Shack as one of our small businesses that has a big heart when it comes to supporting the community.  We\u2019re very grateful to have both of them as partners this year.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Shack has also stepped up to donate over $5,000 worth of prizes, including their popular Plate of the Day, smoothies, drinks, and cash cards.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are thrilled to be a title sponsor of one of the year\u2019s largest celebrations and thankful to all who make this celebration possible,\u201d The Shack stated in making their donation.<\/p>\n<p>The other title sponsors this year are Saipan &amp; Northern Islands Legislative Delegation, McDonald\u2019s, Marianas Variety, TanHoldings Corp., Ana Corp., Imperial Pacific International LLC, Matson, Tournament of Champions, IT&amp;E, Triple J, and Alter City Group.<\/p>\n<p>Additional sponsors include Coca-Cola, Bridge Capital, J.C. Tenorio Ent., Korean community of Saipan, Docomo Pacific, VaprSpot, PDI, Bank of Guam, Sparkle Water, Coral Ocean Golf Resort, Mariana Resort &amp; Spa, G4S, KKMP, Roil Soil, I Love Saipan, Pacific Islands Club Saipan, Bank of Hawaii, Cha, Saipan Travel, and Spicy Thai.<\/p>\n<p>Supporters include Commonwealth Utilities Corp., Department of Fire &amp; Emergency Medical Services, Department of Public Safety, Division of Sanitation, Alcoholic Beverage &amp; Tobacco Control, and Marianas Visitors Authority.<\/p>\n<p>The Liberation Day festivities, presented by the Saipan Mayors\u2019 Office and 2018 Liberation Day Committee, will be held at the Garapan Fishing Base from June 29 to July 7, 2018, from 6pm to 10pm (closing at 11pm on Fridays and Saturdays).  The celebration will include food and drink sales, live entertainment, games, arts and craft sales, and more.  This year\u2019s Liberation Day theme is \u201cSea to Shining Sea,\u201d celebrating the International Year of the Coral Reef and the islands\u2019 oceanic heritage and cultures.  <\/p>\n<p>The registration deadline for floats and marching units is June 15, 2018.  Float prizes are: first place, $4,000; second place, $3,000; third place, $2,000; and fourth place, $1,000.
