McPhetres hopes the gala will net $30,000 or more that will go to purchasing tools and equipment for the trades programs.

McDonald’s Middle Road general manager Joe Ayuyu Jr. said that he and his family hold the NMTI near and dear to their hearts because they support the institution’s mission to train CNMI residents for positions that the CNMI needs to fill.

“Our family is a firm believer in education…in NMTI. …This won’t be the last time. …The whole CNMI sees the need for NMTI and what the school offers. These are very practical jobs that I think our people really need to take advantage of and these are skills our economy truly needs,” he said.

Ayuyu himself is an NMTI electrical program student because he believes that, as general manager, it is important to know the internal and external functions of the company he runs.

As a student in NMTI, he said that he has seen the need of NMTI for funding. Ayuyu assured that McDonald’s will continue to support NMTI.

The Northern Marianas Trades Institute has received a large sum from one of its supporters,…

[4
26,37,51,479
post-278235","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-local-news","tag-cnmi","tag-education-2","tag-guam","tag-nmti
["GET
