Monroyo)\n\t\t\t\t<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<p>More than 200 runners joined the final Tom Picarro Memorial Fun Run held last Saturday with youth athletes Leowel Cristobal and Tania Tan leading the finishers of the seven-kilometer race.<\/p>\n<p>Cristobal completed the event held for the last time in honor of the former DFS Saipan president in 28:04 to earn the overall first place award. Tan was the fourth overall finisher and first in the women\u2019s division after checking in at 29:38. The two young runners received gift prizes presented by T Galleria Saipan general manager Milan Rabold and Picarro\u2019s family members, who flew in from the mainland to witness the 25th and final staging of the \u201cSilver Streak.\u201d  Former DFS Saipan official and now Hawaii-based Wolf Mojica, who helped organized the first race in 1994, was also present in last weekend\u2019s event.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt maybe the last time we will be holding the Silver Streak, but the memories of Mr. Picarro will remain in the hearts of his DFS Saipan family.
