{"id":278741,"date":"2018-06-25T06:00:49","date_gmt":"2018-06-24T20:00:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=278741"},"modified":"2018-06-25T06:00:49","modified_gmt":"2018-06-24T20:00:49","slug":"tenorio-oh-score-most-goals-in-2018-spring-m-league","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/tenorio-oh-score-most-goals-in-2018-spring-m-league\/","title":{"rendered":"Tenorio, Oh score most goals in 2018 Spring M-League"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>MP United Football Club\u2019s Sunjoon Tenorio and Korean Football Association on Saipan\u2019s Juan Oh recorded the most goals in the 2018 Spring M-League that concluded early this month.<\/p>\n<p>Tenorio had 22 goals to lead Division A, while Oh tallied 23 in Division B.<\/p>\n<p>Tenorio earned more than half of MP United\u2019s total goals for the season, as the team made 40 and yielded only 5\u2014the least allowed by any team in the entire league.<\/p>\n<p>The MP United striker was the lone player in the division to score at least 20 goals, as second placer and TanHoldings\u2019 Martin Jambor recorded only 11.  MP United\u2019s Anthony Fruit had 7, while Paire\u2019s Jonathan Takano and the Teen Ayuyus\u2019 Rintaro Miyawaki earned 6 each, and TanHoldings\u2019 Jersh Angeles, Winners\u2019 Junsik Kim, and Paire\u2019s Daniel Agulto collected 5 apiece.<\/p>\n<p>In Division B, Oh\u2019s 23 (out of KFAS\u2019 76) beat the 17 each of Matansa\u2019s Amzad Khan and the former\u2019s teammate Oliver Lee. Edwin Kim, also of KFAS, made 11, while Pacific Islands Club\u2019s Albert Bergancia rounded out the Top 5 with his 10 goals.<\/p>\n<p>KFAS finished first in Division B after the elimination with its 9-0-1 win-draw-loss record, but ended up in third place as it lost to Shirley\u2019s in the semifinals.
