TAMUNING, Guam\u2014United Airlines customers in Saipan now have more options for convenient connections through Guam this summer. United announced new twice-weekly Boeing 737-700 service between Saipan and Guam, beginning Aug. 2, 2018.<\/p>\n
United\u2019s new service is scheduled to depart Guam on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11:30pm and arrive in Saipan at 12:15am the next day. The return flight departs Saipan on Wednesdays and Fridays at 4:55am and arrives in Guam at 5:40am. United will operate Boeing 737-700 (12 seats in United Business, 36 seats in United Economy Plus and 78 seats in United Economy) aircraft between Saipan and Guam.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are pleased to add the new twice-weekly service between Guam and Saipan. Since we started the daily jet service between Guam and Saipan on June 1, we have seen strong demand between the islands. More importantly, by adding new twice-weekly service we are able to accommodate Saipan customers who desire to make a same-day connection to Honolulu and Japan with just one stop in Guam,\u201d said Sam Shinohara, United\u2019s managing director of Asia\/Pacific Airport Operations.<\/p>\n
United\u2019s Guam-Saipan Service<\/strong> \u201cThis new service complements our recently announced reintroduction of widebody aircraft flying twice-daily between Guam and Tokyo beginning on October 28 as well as the 20 additional flights United will offer customers traveling between Japan and Guam during this summer\u2019s peak travel season beginning Aug. 2 through Aug. 27,\u201d added Shinohara.<\/p>\n United\u2019s addition of twice-weekly service offers customers an additional 504 seats weekly and is available to book today for travel beginning Aug. 2.
