Gov. Ralph DLG Torres advised the public to avoid venturing near reef lines and beaches, especially those facing west. <\/p>\n<p>HSEMA said if  caught by a rip current, swim parallel to shore and back toward the beach when possible.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDo not attempt to swim directly against a rip current,\u201d HSEMA said in its advisory.<\/p>\n<p>For Saipan, Tinian, and Rota hazardous surf of 8 to 10 feet along west reefs will slowly subside over Sunday night.
