Acting governor Victor B. Hocog last July 10 signed into law House Local Bill 20-67, D1, which appropriates $79,000 from the local license fees collected from pachinko and poker machines in the Second Senatorial District.
\nThe appropriation will be expended as follows:<\/p>\n
\u2022 $50,000 to fund Fall 2019 Semester for the Tinian Municipal Scholarship;
\n\u2022 $10,000 to fund Fall 2019 Semester for Master\u2019s Program;
\n\u2022 $10,000 to purchase firearms, firearm accessories and for training of personnel for the Tinian Department of Lands and Natural Resources, Division of Fish and Wildlife; and
\n\u2022 $9,000 to purchase a zero-turn mover for the Tinian Department of Community and Cultural Affairs. <\/p>\n
