Hocog last July 10 signed into law House Local Bill 20-67, D1, which appropriates $79,000 from the local license fees collected from pachinko and poker machines in the Second Senatorial District.<br \/>\nThe appropriation will be expended as follows:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 $50,000 to fund Fall 2019 Semester for the Tinian Municipal Scholarship;<br \/>\n\u2022 $10,000 to fund Fall 2019 Semester for Master\u2019s Program;<br \/>\n\u2022 $10,000 to purchase firearms, firearm accessories and for training of personnel for the Tinian Department of Lands and Natural Resources, Division of Fish and Wildlife; and<br \/>\n\u2022 $9,000 to purchase a zero-turn mover for the Tinian Department of Community and Cultural Affairs. <\/p>\n<p>Offered by the Tinian and Aguiguan Legislative Delegation, this bill becomes Tinian Local Law 20-13. <strong>(PR)<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Acting governor Victor B.
