Some of the participants donned creative and festive hats to join the inaugural “Best Hat” contest. Judges Sophia Tenorio and John Gonzales chose an artistically designed blue straw hat featuring the name “Sophia” in script with a latte stone, tropical elements, butterflies and orange flowers as the winning piece, created by Helen Olbes. Olbes’ efforts proved worthwhile as she won a “One Night Ocean View Room Stay and a Mai Teppanyaki Dinner for 2” valued at nearly $400.

The raffles also confirmed to be a popular event with gift certificates donated by various generous sponsors. The Top 4 prizes from Aqua Resort Club, Hyatt Regency Saipan, Docomo Pacific, and Fiesta Resort were valued at over $4,400. Lucky raffle ticket holder, Ron Ben, won the grand raffle prize, a “Two Night Executive Suite stay with lounge access” plus “Sunday Brunch for 4 with Pool Access at the Fiesta Resort.”

Fiesta Resort recognizes and generously thanks its extremely supportive sponsors: Tan Holdings, Tan Siu Lin Foundation, DFS T Galleria, Kanoa Resort, Acqua Panna, Century Hotel, Coca Cola, D&Q, Docomo Pacific, Gold’s Gym, Grandvrio Resort, H Mart, Herman’s Modern Bakery, Hong Electric Enterprises, Hyatt Regency Saipan, Island Apparel, I Love Saipan, iSHOP, IT&E, JC Tenorio Enterprises, KKMP, L&Q, Let’s Go, Luen Fung Enterprises, Marianas Health, Marianas Walking Association, MarPac, Micronesian Brokers, Natural Nail Spa, PIC Saipan, Pacific Wines & Spirits, POI Aviation, PTC, Royal Sourcing Wholesale, Saipan Ice & Water, SeaTouch, Shirley’s Coffee Shop, Take Care, the ARC, Triple J Enterprises, and Yaong Corp.
