{"id":280276,"date":"2018-07-19T06:06:31","date_gmt":"2018-07-18T20:06:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=280276"},"modified":"2018-07-19T06:06:31","modified_gmt":"2018-07-18T20:06:31","slug":"ipi-donates-50-boxes-of-clothing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/ipi-donates-50-boxes-of-clothing\/","title":{"rendered":"IPI donates 50 boxes of clothing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Imperial Pacific International\u2019s initiative supporting the community continues with at least 11 nonprofit organizations and government agencies getting clothing donations to support their outreach programs.<\/p>\n<p>Under the \u201c2nd Time Around Project,\u201d a clothing drive of IPI\u2019s Corporate Social Responsibility program, the said nonprofit organizations and government agencies received more than 50 boxes of clothing. These include slacks\/pants, button-up shirts, and blazers, among others.<\/p>\n<p>IPI-CSR donated to the Office on Aging, Empty Vessel Ministry, Maternal and Child Health Bureau, Substance Abuse Rehabilitation Program (HOPE Recovery Center), Women\u2019s Affairs Office, Ayuda Network, Respite Care Service Program, Domestic Violence Awareness Coalition, Veterans Affairs Office, Commonwealth Women\u2019s Association, and Karidat Social Services.<\/p>\n<p>The donations were held from July 13 to 17, directly to these 11 nonprofit organization and government agencies-partners of IPI.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201c2nd Time Around Project\u201d was pioneered last year with the largest private sector employer in the region partnering with the CNMI Drug Court. Since then, Imperial Pacific\u2019s CSR began expanding the initiative. <\/p>\n<p>It has also partnered with the CNMI\u2019s Office of Substance Abuse and Rehabilitation (HOPE Recovery Center). SAR manages the HOPE Recovery Center and has initially identified that the immediate needs are clothes for program participants as they begin anew rebuilding their lives back through their desires to seek employment.<\/p>\n<p>IPI, through its CSR, currently has 11 community partners whose community building and outreach programs have benefited from the \u201c2nd Time Around\u201d program.
